*How to qualify for this offer

Eligibility Requirements:

  • This offer is for new consumer checking customers only. All Wells Fargo consumer checking accounts are eligible for this offer with the exception of checking accounts offered by Wells Fargo Private Bank. Only the primary owner of the new checking account is eligible for this offer.
  • You must use your bonus offer code at account opening when you apply for a new eligible Wells Fargo checking account.
  • You are not eligible for this offer if:
    • You are a current primary owner of a Wells Fargo consumer checking account. The primary account owner is the owner whose Taxpayer Identification Number, such as a Social Security Number, is assigned to the account and has tax responsibility.
    • You have received a bonus for opening a Wells Fargo consumer checking account within the past 12 months.
    • You are a Wells Fargo employee.

Bonus Requirements:

To receive the $125 bonus, you must:

  1. Open a new Wells Fargo consumer checking account by January 8, 2025. All account applications are subject to approval.
  2. Within 60 calendar days of account opening (the “qualification period”), you must make 10 or more qualifying posted transactions using your new checking account. Generally, transactions post within 1 to 3 days. However, the timing of when a transaction will post can vary from the very same day to several weeks later. Only the following count as qualifying posted transactions:
    • Posted Zelle® transactions: use Zelle® either through WellsFargo.com or the Wells Fargo Mobile® app to send or receive money.
    • Posted checks deposited using the Wells Fargo Mobile® app
    • Posted payments you initiated through Wells Fargo Bill Pay
    • Posted transactions from purchases using your Wells Fargo debit card
      • Eligible debit card purchases are limited to:
        • Debit card purchases made using PIN, signature, online, or by phone
        • Debit card payments including one-time or recurring.
        • Digital wallet purchases with your Wells Fargo debit card

The following do not count as qualifying transactions:

Debit Card Purchases:

Debit card purchases must be posted by the end of the qualification period to be counted toward the required number of qualifying posted transactions that period. Wells Fargo cannot post your debit card transaction until the merchant submits the transaction to us for payment. Transactions received from a merchant after the applicable cutoff time or on a non-business day (Saturday, Sunday, and federal holidays) are posted on the next business day. See your account agreement or ask a banker for applicable cutoff times. A posted transaction is a completed transaction that has been fully processed on your account and appears on your account statement. Transactions that appear as “pending” have not posted and do not count as qualifying posted transactions for this offer.
